When we started to look for our second Golden we knew exactly what we were looking for: UK CH Ritzilyn Cockney Robin JW or MULTI CH Paudell Pure Passion. These two Goldens, each one in his own way, are representing the type of Golden we love.
It was February 2005 when we started our search, a month later we landed on the Stonedale Kennel website. We liked the presentation right away, the dogs looked clean, well taken care of, the pictures were neat. We decided to write Ms. Adriana Jaksic to enquire about a puppy. Adriana answered our letter and we started a very enriching email relationship, she wanted to be sure we were the right family for one of her precious puppies, as much as we wanted to ascertain that she was an ethical breeder. When she finally told us that she was planning a mating between Shane (CH Stonedale Weekend Lover) and Tally (Stonedale Crime of Passion) I was delighted: both Shane and Tally looked gorgeous and they had terrific bloodlines: Shane's sire was MULTI CH Paudell Pure Passion and his grandsire on his mother's side was UK CH Ritzilyn Cockney Robin JW, Tally's sire was INT CH Ritzilyn Chancellor!

Adriana has proven to be a great breeder and a precious friend. She kept us updated by the minute on everything it was happening, from the days of the mating, to the first ultrasound, from the whelping moments to the time we finally held Wellington in our arms. She sent pictures of everything, pictures of Tally with a big belly, pictures of the puppies at every age stage, pictures, pictures and more pictures! That was so much appreciated, she really made us feel like we were there all the time!
After our 5 months long correspondence she felt she knew what kind of puppy we were looking for, and she chose him for us. I will never thank her enough for that! Wellington is a stunning looking boy, but you really need to know him to see his beauty at his fullest. Wellington completely fits the description of the perfect Golden that can be found in any breed manual.
Adriana as a breeder first, and now as a friend, is always there to help, to advise, or just to talk. We learnt a lot from her and we hope to be able to breed sound healthy Goldens, true to the standard, like she does.

He is your friend, your defender, your dog, You are his life, his love, his leader. He'll be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe him to be worthy of such devotion.

Our dogs are first and foremost our companions, we all live under the same roof.
Breeding is a passion, not certainly a business to us, our dogs will never be kenneled in the backyard.
We are planning to breed very selectively, and only when we intend to keep a pup (or more) from the litter, this way our girls will have one, maybe two litters at the most.

If you like our dogs, if you agree with our philosophy and if you are interested in a 1st Class pup be prepared to be screened and to wait a bit.
We feel that each and every 1st Class pup deserves the best life possible, and we feel responsible to find him/her the perfect family, that's why we will screen every request very carefully, and we will ask lots of questions.
On the other hand, if you are selected to be the family of one of our puppies, you will always be able to count on us, we will be an email or a phone call away. Should you, for any unfortunate unforseen reason, not be able to guarantee your 1st Class Golden the life he deserves, we will always be ready to welcome him/her back.
